What gives a professional singer their excellent sound quality?

Side Note: I know the song is based off of a video game but being that I play the game I think that it is a very good song as well.

A professional singer needs several things to get a good sound quality. First off, you need to know the lines of the song. That however is the most obvious thing a singer needs to know. in this case, the singer is both singing and playing the guitar (I believe) so he has to be able to match his pitch of the guitar and his vocals together. a professional singer has to have excellent control of his vocal cords so that he his able to get the exact pitch that he or she desires. In order to accomplish that they must practice that for a very long time. and by long time I don't mean for several hours straight, I mean that you need to practice singing over the course of months or even years to develop your vocal sound. A singer also needs to know how long he or she needs to hold a pitch. If they can master that their music will sound much better. One last thing a singer must know. A singer must be able to sing the vowels of the lyrics correctly so that the song makes sense.
